Johnathan Joseph, a nine-year player of Texas, is leaving.
On Wednesday, Texans officials said they had reached an agreement with Joseph, who would not renew his contract to enter the free market.
“Jonathan has been the perfect professional, Capter and defensive leader for the past nine years,” the team statement said. It’s not easy to maintain a high level of performance for nearly a decade, which is the best proof of Jonathan’s personal and professional level. He is a model teammate, mentor, husband and father. His influence on and off the pitch made the signing worth it. The Texans thanked Jonathan for his contribution to the team and Houston Texans hoped that he and his family would have a good time
Johnathan Joseph , who played in the jacksonville Jaguars for the first five years of his career, was number 24 in the first round of 2006. He will turn 36 next month, but he says he still has plans to continue playing.
Joseph played 14 games last season, finishing 13 broken passes, one cut and 51 tackles.
